Brand Story

Nar·cis·sist noun
A person who has an excessive
interest in or admiration of themselves

The term “narcissist” derives from the Greek mythological figure Narcissus, a beautiful young man who rejected the nymph Echo and fell in love with his reflection in a pool as a curse by Nemesis, the goddess of retribution.

Although the term has been perceived negatively and carries many stigmatic impressions, Narcy’s message focuses on gifting people boosted confidence, self-love, and extraordinary beauty with the brand’s skincare products.
Logo Story

Daffodil

Narcy’s brand logo originates from one of the most well-known narcissus flowers, the daffodil. Narcissus is a genus of spring flowers such as daffodils and jonquils. The name also carries the Greek mythological story where the first narcissus flower bloomed at the spot where Narcissus, the cursed young man who fell in love with his reflection in a pool, met his demise.
Brand Challenge

Despite the tragic myth, narcissus flowers are positive indicators that spring has come. Since most narcissus flowers symbolize rebirth and new beginnings, the shape of the daffodil reflects the brand’s mission to deliver elevated beauty and healthier skin to our modern consumers.
